From the original programmable logic controller (PLC) to the scalable, multi-disciplined, and information-enabled programmable automation controller (PAC), Rockwell Automation offer multiple controllers to fit your needs.
LARGE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Rockwell Automation’s Large Control Systems fit your most demanding application needs. They offer modular architectures and a range of I/O and network options. These powerful control solutions deliver world-class capabilities from process to safety to motion. Designed for distributed or supervisory control applications, our large programmable automation controllers (PACs) provide exceptional reliability and performance.
Rockwell’s ControlLogix® control systems use a common control engine with a common development environment to provide high performance in an easy-to-use environment. Tight integration between the programming software, controller, and I/O modules reduces development time and cost at commissioning and during normal operation. You can perform standard and safety control in the same chassis for a truly integrated system. Leverage the high-availability and extreme environment capabilities to meet your application needs.
- Enables modular architectures and various I/O and network topologies
- Delivers powerful control solutions with world-class capabilities from process to safety to motion
- Offers reliability and performance for distributed or supervisory control applications
Rockwell Automation announces that as of June 2017, the PLC-5 Control System will be discontinued and no longer available for sale. Customers are encouraged to migrate from the PLC-5 Control System to the ControlLogix Control System.
Keystone Controls can help you determine your migration options and show you the benefits, including better performance, more informed business decisions, reduced maintenance costs, and quicker response to changing market demands.
SMALL CONTROL SYSTEMS
The perfect solution for your mid-range applications, Rockwell Automation’s small controllers offer the features and flexibility you need without the overhead of larger systems. Choose from standard and safety-certified controllers in chassis-based, packaged and modular designs. Typical applications include complex machine control, batch processing and building automation.
Our CompactLogix™ and Compact GuardLogix® controllers use a common control engine with a common development environment to provide mid-range application control in an easy-to-use environment. Tight integration between the programming software, controller and I/O modules reduces development time and cost at commissioning and during normal operation. This commonality provides cost-effective integration of a machine or safety application into a plant-wide control system because it integrates safety, motion, discrete and drive capabilities in a single controller.
Our small control systems offer the features and flexibility you need without the overhead of larger systems.
- Offers standard and safety-certified controllers in chassis-based, packaged and modular designs
- Supports complex machine control, batch processing, and builds automation applications
The SLC™ 500 control platform is a powerful, yet affordable control solution. Providing excellent value with extensive capabilities, the SLC 500 addresses a broad range of applications including material handling, HVAC control, high speed assembly operations, small process control, simple motion control, and SCADA.
Rockwell Automation has announced that some SLC 500 Bulletin numbers are discontinued and no longer available for sale. Customers are encouraged to migrate to our newer CompactLogix™ 5370 or 5380 control platforms.
